# Sales Reports

Sales reports provide you with detailed insights into your customers' ordering behavior. Analyze order trends, average order value (AOV), the distribution of order statuses, and identify peak sales times. This data helps you optimally plan your operations and refine your sales strategy.

## Order Summary

The order summary compiles all orders for the selected period into concise key figures.

### Key Metrics

- **Total Orders** - Total number of all received orders
- **Items Ordered** - Total number of all individual items ordered
- **Total Revenue** - Sum of all orders (gross)
- **Average Order Value (AOV)** - Average order value
- **Average Number of Items per Order** - How many items does a typical order contain?
- **Change from Previous Period** - Percentage change in the number of orders and revenue

### Order Volume Over Time

A line chart shows the development of the number of orders over the selected period. Choose the granularity:

- **Daily** - For short-term observations (last 7-30 days)
- **Weekly** - For a monthly overview
- **Monthly** - For quarterly and annual evaluations

## Sales Trends

Trend analysis helps you identify patterns in ordering behavior and react to them.

### Identifying Upward Trends

A rising order trend indicates that your shop is growing. Pay attention to:

- **Increasing number of orders** - More customers are ordering
