Shop Settings

Shop settings offer you extensive options to adapt the behavior of your Corporate Shop to your requirements. From price display and the checkout process to customer management – here you control all important aspects of your shop.

Price Display

Gross or Net Prices

Determine whether prices in your shop are displayed inclusive or exclusive of VAT:

• Gross (incl. VAT) - Prices are displayed inclusive of VAT. Recommended for shops whose customers are predominantly private individuals or end consumers.
• Net (excl. VAT) - Prices are displayed exclusive of VAT. Recommended for shops in the B2B sector whose customers are predominantly businesses.

How to change the price display:

1. Navigate to Settings > Shop
2. Under Price Display, select the Gross or Net option
3. Click Save

Note: This setting only changes the display of prices in the shop. The actual calculation of VAT on invoices remains unaffected.

Account System

Activate / Deactivate Account System

The account system allows customers to create a user account in your shop. With an account, customers can:

• View their order history
• Save addresses for future orders
• Track order status
• Benefit from personalized features

How to control the account system:

1. Navigate to Settings > Shop
2. Activate or deactivate the Account System toggle
3. Click Save

Important: If you deactivate the account system, no new customers can register, and existing customers can no longer log in. Existing accounts and order data will be retained.

Public Registration

If the account system is activated, you can control whether every visitor is allowed to register themselves:

• Activated - Anyone can create an account via the registration page. Suitable for open shops aiming to reach a broad target audience.
• Deactivated - Only administrators can create new accounts.
